THE FLAMIN' CHURCH
Until now I've known family and friends that this has happened to but only now have I found that anger.
What is it?
Some say it's the "practices," "traditions," "tithings."
My reason is for the treatment of individuals within the church and how it has conformed to fit into business/secular ways just to survive.
What do I mean?
Well when the "higher ups" have to "tell secrets" and keep information hush hush so that the congregation doesn't revolt.
When the Leaders (a small group or clique) make decisions on behalf of the "good of the whole church" instead of allowing the members to have any sort of say. (thought this was a form of dictatorship not a form of democracy)
When the higher ups have absolute friends within the "lowers" and cannot confide in them or seek guidance and help/wisdom etc but must go external or with equals in the church where the problems may lie.
I know all the above may result in human nature but i thought Christianity was better than that. Jesus never held himself above anyone else. He was equal with those he walked with. Yes he was a teacher because he did have more knowledge than we could ever fathom but this did not give him a sense of power or make him narcissistic and having to "rule" over all. He led, he directed, he handed out jobs and got things done. Well this is how I see it anyways. He loved, he worked smart, not hard. and worked hard when he needed to.
I'm going through a time in life where I'm accepting for myself who I am and what I want in my life. It doesn't sit well in the scheme of "religion" or "church" and many will tell me I'm going to hell.
I've struggled with it for many many years and I'm tired of struggling. This struggle however is a 1st world struggle and I'm privileged to even be able to say that. I'm not physically hurting, I'm not in need of my basic rights, I'm not being abused so ultimately it's a comfort.
Well guess f***ing what. So is the spacious house that the pastor of a church lives in (who isn't in the middle of Africa living in a shack.) So is the 4 bedroom house a single widowed female lives in, so is the car you drive to church or the Nike's you put on your feet to walk to church. So are the ways in which we live in total rubbish, in excess, with TV's, electrical appliances that run more energy than we actually need because we forget to turn them off. What about the air-conditioner on a 41 degree Celsius day? If you can be comfortable in the ways of the world why can't I?

Gravitational waves detected, providing the final piece of the puzzle for general relativity

Reported today by the Advanced Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (Advanced LIGO) team, astronomers say the detection of gravitational waves reveals an entirely new way to observe the universe, revealing distant events that aren't able to be observed using optical telescopes, but whose faint tremors can be felt across the cosmos.
"This detection is the beginning of a new era: The field of gravitational wave astronomy is now a reality," said Gabriela González, LSC spokesperson and professor of physics and astronomy at Louisiana State University.
First detected on September 14, 2015 at 5:51 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (09:51 UTC), the gravitational waves were recorded by both of the twin Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) detectors, located in Livingston, Louisiana, and Hanford, Washington.
The event detected was the arrival of gravitational waves on Earth produced by two massive black holes colliding around 1.3 billion years ago. In the collision, some three times the mass of our sun was turned into gravitational waves in microseconds creating a power output at the height of the collision some about 50 times that of the entire visible universe.
The LIGO device reflected laser beams repeatedly along two L-shaped detectors in its 4-km (2.5-mile)-long arms onto mirrors equipped with exceptionally sensitive movement sensors, to search for coincident expansions and contractions caused by gravitational waves as they passed by the Earth. As a result of the black holes colliding, the scientists measured minuscule changes in the length of the arms, as tiny as one thousandth the width of a proton.
A previously impossibly small perturbation to measure, LIGO has finally achieved its purpose some 50 years after it was originally proposed as a possible means of detecting gravitational waves by scientists from Caltech and MIT.
"Our observation of gravitational waves accomplishes an ambitious goal set out over five decades ago to directly detect this elusive phenomenon and better understand the universe, and, fittingly, fulfills Einstein's legacy on the 100th anniversary of his general theory of relativity," said Caltech's David H. Reitze, executive director of the LIGO Laboratory.
When Einstein's theory of general relativity turned Newton's understanding of gravity on its head by showing that matter and time were inextricably linked, the theory of space-time was born and the four-dimensional structure of the universe in which matter, energy and gravity are all interlinked elements of that structure, gravitational waves became an inevitable conclusion from this theory.
LIGO research is performed by the LIGO Scientific Collaboration (LSC), a collective of more than 1,000 scientists from universities around the United States and 14 other countries. More than 90 universities and research institutes in the LSC develop detector technology and analyze data, and around 250 students are contributing members to the collaboration.

God's tears
Some would say He is crying too. Others might say 'oh that's the punishment they get for...', and another might say that there isn't a God, we have brought this on ourselves with greenhouse gases and carbon emissions etc.
I'm not saying that greenies are non christian. So please don't go there..
I am saying that there is a God, My GOD, YOUR GOD, THE GOD and He is open armed waiting to receive those who lost their earthly lives. Guess what He is also open armed ready to embrace everyone on this planet, those in shock or grieving or helping to find survivors or others who need be identified.
God is awesome like that and He is walking and picking up the pieces already in Oklahoma making it easier to continue life in a broken world.

Depression
Is it something were born with?
Is is something God gave us?
Is it from the devil?
Is is just because we're human?
Its normal to feel the way u do when...has happened to u.

Where do we look for comfort?
So many times we believe we are strong and can do things alone or on our own accord, but can we?
When is the last time you went and asked someone to help you...to really help you?
Do you feel incompetent if u have to ask for assistance on something you truely cannot manage alone?
Are you OK asking for help when you cantget a screw loose? I know I am. I like the company...but to ask someone to help meemitionally overcome something I think is impossible, forget it. Ain't getting asked...
Don't walk through life thinking this is as good as it gets. Now there are people out three who care and wish to help and who have the ability to walk the journey with you. They don't have to have a degree or even a walk in the same boat, but a window looking in can bee the help you need.
Be open to your friends...they have problems just like you do amended you just as much as you need them.
